General T&C's

Use of Merrins Meadow is at your own risk.

Whilst every reasonable measure has been taken to ensure the safety of users and their dogs, we cannot accept liability for any accident or injury of users of Merrins Meadow.

We recommend that you have public liability insurance (often included in pet/house policy)

Merrins Meadow is situated on a working farm.

Users are advised of farm traffic and an increase in farm activity at certain times of year.

Vehicles are parked at owners’ risk.

Merrins Meadow cannot be held responsible for any accidents, damage or loss incurred to vehicles or property.

All persons and dog(s) must remain inside the vehicle until the time of booking.

Vehicles are to be parked inside the enclosure gates and dogs must not be released from your vehicle until the gate has been closed and locked behind you.

Dogs must be returned and secure inside vehicles before opening the gate to exit Merrins Meadow.

If arriving by foot, dogs must not be unleashed until gate is closed and locked behind you.

If we have to close for any reason, users will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and offered a refund or opportunity to reschedule booking as required.

We reserve the right to refuse bookings from anyone who does not comply with our terms and conditions.

Merrins Meadow reserves the right to consider changes or amend these terms and conditions of use at any time.

It is understood that you accept our terms and conditions each time you use the facility. A booking at Merrins Meadow is deemed as your agreement to these terms and conditions.
Merrrins Meadow requires some of your personal data in the form of names, email address and mobile number to enable you to book or contact us.

This data allows us to contact you with lock codes and booking confirmations.

Your data is securely stored within our online booking system provider: SimplyBookme.

We will not share your data or use your data for purposes other than for managing your booking. Booking at Merrins Meadow is deemed as your agreement to use of your personal data.

Terms Of Use
Booking

Please ensure you book for the correct number of dogs - Our costs are proportionate to the number of dogs using our facility. You may contact us by email to make any amendments to the number of dogs at your booking.

All dogs must be vaccinated and free of illness on the day of your booking. Please contact us if your dog shows any signs of being unwell on the day of your booking.
Arrival & Departure

Your booking includes your arrival and departure time:

Please ensure you have vacated the premises promptly at the end of your session to enable the next user to access the Meadow on time.

We respectfully ask that you do not arrive more than 5 minutes ahead of your booking start time. This can be highly distracting for dogs currently using the facility and be very distressing for reactive dogs.

We aim to protect the privacy and enjoyment of all our users and arriving early infringes on others private use.

In the event of an early arrival, please wait safely offsite. There is limited parking space at the end of the lane.

Parking & Access

All persons and dog(s) must remain inside vehicle until time of your booking. Vehicles are to be parked inside the enclosure gates and dogs must not be released from vehicle until the gate has been closed and locked behind you.

Dogs must be secure inside vehicle before opening the gate to exit Merrins Meadow.

If arriving by foot, dogs must not be unleashed until gate is closed and locked behind you.

Waste Removal

All dog waste must be bagged and disposed of in the bins provided.

Persistent failure to pick up your dog(s) waste may result in being prevented from future use.

General Etiquette

We ask that users respect the facilities and its contents.

We welcome picnics at Merrins Meadow, but please ensure all unconsumed food products are taken away with you at the end of your booking. Please do not bring any food products that are hazardous / toxic to dogs.

Please, no chewing gum.

Merrins Meadow is a non-smoking /non - substance facility.
-
We respectively ask that you restrict any digging to the designated sandpit.
-
Users must report any accident, incident or injury to us by contacting us on the numbers provided.
Business Use

We welcome Professional dog walkers, trainers and anyone intending to book Merrins Meadow for business use. We do not charge additional fees for business use; we just ask that you contact us prior to your first booking.
